About The Role

We've a fantastic new opportunity for a Learning and Development Partner to join our talented HR team on a 12 month fixed term contract. Sitting in our Human Resources team, the Learning and Development Partner is responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving learning solutions that build organisational capability, support business objectives and enhance employee performance. The role partners closely with leaders and stakeholders across the business to identify learning needs, develop targeted interventions and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Business Partnering

  • Partner with business leaders, managers and subject matter experts to identify capability gaps and learning requirements.
  • Conduct learning needs analyses and identify appropriate development solutions aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner with functional leads to develop competency frameworks
  • Use performance data, feedback and business metrics to evaluate learning effectiveness and inform future learning priorities.

Employee and Manager Induction

  • Design, implement and continuously improve comprehensive induction programmes for new employees and managers.
  • Ensure induction programmes provide a consistent onboarding experience that supports engagement, productivity and cultural integration.
  • Develop learning pathways that enable new starters and newly appointed managers to become effective in their roles quickly.
  • Evaluate onboarding effectiveness and make ongoing improvements.

Leadership and Management Development

  • Design and deliver management and leadership development programmes that build capability across all management levels.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions covering key management topics such as performance management, communication, coaching, employee engagement, change management and leadership behaviours.
  • Support managers in applying learning through coaching, resources and practical ongoing development plans.

Health and Safety Learning

  • Partner with Health & Safety teams and operational leaders to ensure learning interventions support the organisation's safety strategy and desired safety culture.
  • With support of the training coordinator, ensure mandatory health and safety training is effectively managed, monitored and completed within required timeframes.

Learning Design and Delivery

  • Design engaging learning solutions using a blended approach, including classroom, virtual, e-learning and on-the-job learning.
  • Develop high-quality learning materials, facilitator guides, participant resources and digital learning content.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions and development programmes across multiple business functions.
  • Manage relationships with external learning providers where appropriate.

Learning Operations and Governance

  • Maintain accurate learning records and reporting through the learning management system.
  • Monitor training compliance and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Ensure learning activities comply with organisational policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Support the continuous improvement of learning processes, systems and governance frameworks.

About You

Essential

  • Experience in a Learning & Development, Organisational Development or Training Partner role.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering management development programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
  • Experience conducting learning needs analyses and translating business requirements into effective learning solutions.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing learning management systems and training records.

Desirable

  • Professional qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Coaching, training delivery or facilitation qualifications.
